A 68-year-old man found injured on a bridge in Edmonton succumbed to life and died.

Police responded to the scene at approximately 9:15 p.m. after receiving a report of an injured person on the Dudley B. Menzies LRT Bridge over the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Alta., on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024. The 68-year-old man was taken to hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. “The police department is seeking assistance from anyone with information, as they believe there were a number of pedestrians and e-bikers in the area at the time,” said Staff Sergeant Rob Bilawey of the Edmonton Police Service Homicide Division.
